I turned 26 & HELL Broke Loose..

Well, i turned 26 last Thursday and Shermaine turned 24. For the first time, we did a joint bash at Backyard. It was an amazing night where i had the pleasure of having my usual suspects friends, my colleagues and Shermaine’s friends over…. A series of events took place that night… Not sure if you’re in to hear about a story off a day in my life but hey, i’m gonna blog about it anyway.. 🙂

Shermaine’s friends came in a large group. Half of the group i was meeting for the first time.. 🙂 

Then we have the usual suspects, (left to right : Sabrina, Mitchell, Stanley and Dexter) Kok Wei left early 😦 and Javen was there but strangely missing in action.. can’t remember what the hell was he doing at my party, then playing MIA..

Then we have our loveliest laddies from work (leaving out Mark Lee AKA Mark Cleo of course) (left-right : Joyce  & Edna)

Others from work who were present but were rarely seen on my camera were Oon Keat, & Mr. & Mrs. to be Mark Darren

Then thing’s started to get up-beat.. Eric did the 5 Seconds..

Then Chan from Switchbox came and did the 5 seconds too.. then everyone started partying..

And weird pictures were being taken…

Then i went on stage to do a few numbers (by this time, i was half wasted)

 

Then Chan stepped in and made things worse.. I did the 5 seconds.. maybe more.. as after that, the night was left with bits and pieces. Can’t recall much of what happened after that dosage of booze. Probably some things that i don’t wanna remember…

I’d have to say.. it has been quite some time since i got on top of my drinking.. its been a while since drinking left me half stoned for the next 12 hours. It’s truly been a while.. been stopping myself from getting there..but it was my birthday.. all effort fell out of place.

Thanks to everyone who made it there that night. Thanks to Albert & Vijay for allowing a drunkard like me on stage.. thanks for the folks at Backyard for putting up with my nonsense that night.. and most importantly, thanks to the 81 wall post and message i got on Facebook. Its a new era.. you don’t get midnight messages anymore.. you wake up to 81 posts on your wall.. scary?? try replying them.. 🙂

Thanks to all friends and family for still being a part of my life.. my birthday wish is for all to be well…

it’s 1.30 in the morning and Liverpool is leading by 5 goals with a Stevie G Hattrick.. i think its time for me to hit the bed… good night guys.. walk on! walk on!
